Please take a look at the following points before contacting me with questions.
If you are looking to use a picture for a non-commercial class project or presentation, please feel free to do so under the terms described here. You do not need to email me for permission to print or use an image for a school project or a powerpoint. You can also link to pictures from blogs and websites provided you don't remove the "mongabay.com" label from the images. Interviews for school projects I generally cannot do interviews for school (elementary, high school, college) projects. If you need an interview, please use this link for some ideas or try contacting the Rainforest Alliance or the Rainforest Action Network. Background information on mongabay.com Most questions on my background are answered on the about page and in the interview. The interview also discusses the credibility of mongabay.com. Identifying animals in photos I cannot identify photos of animals or plants. Try contacting a researcher at a local university, museum, zoo, or government wildlife agency for help. Fish I will not diagnose fish diseases nor provide guidance on compatibility between fish species. Please contact your local fish store if something is wrong with your pet. Requests for disease diagnosis will not be answered. Commercial transactions Other than T-shirts, I do not sell anything through mongabay. Newletters & Updates There is a weekly newsletter and more than 400 RSS feeds for mongabay.com. Requests for money, jobs, vehicles, brochures Mongabay is run by an individual and does not accept unsolicited requests for grants or employment. If you need multimedia materials on the rainforest, please look at my kids site, rainforest site, and Madagascar site -- there is a wealth of information. If you need printed materials for distribution please consider contacting an organization like RAN. Press queries I may be available for comment and will consider media interviews.
