Advertising on mongabay.com
Mongabay.com is one of the most popular environmental science web sites on the web. Currently, I only take direct take direct advertising in limited cases (see below) -- most advertising on the site is handled by Google Adwords. Adwords allows businesses to advertise on any number of sites, including this one, regardless of the size of their budget. Ad campaigns can be set up to target based on keywords, geographical location of the visitor, and/or individual web sites (like mongabay.com). Adwords offers text, image, or video ads.

Direct advertising on mongabay.com
I will consider campaigns for environmental organizations and eco-friendly products, services, and travel destinations. Due to personal time constraints, the minimum ad buy starts at $1000. The table below will give you an idea of what's available. The "avg mo. page views" are an estimate of the average monthly page views for pages that have applicable advertising spots (i.e. not all pages in every section will carry ads).
If you are a media buyer or company and seriously interested in seeing a rate card, please contact me. Please include your name, position, company name, contact information, brief details on your intended campaign, the sections on which you are interested in running ads, the ad requirements (size, media type, etc), and your time frame.
