Silviculture prescription glossary and government resources

Silviculture prescription : a site-specific operational plan that describes theforest management objectives for an area. It prescribes the method for harvesting theexisting forest stand, and a series of silviculture treatments that will be carried out toestablish a free growing stand in a manner that accommodates other resource values asidentified.
