Sensitive watershed
:
a watershed that is used for domestic purposes or that hassignificant downstream fisheries values, and in which the quality of the water resource ishighly responsive to changes in the environment. Typically, such watersheds lacksettlement ponds, are relatively small, are located on steep slopes, and have specialconcerns such as extreme risk of erosion.
