Integrated resource use
:
a decision making process whereby all resources are identified,assessed and compared before land use or resource management decisions are made. Thedecisions themselves, whether to approve a plan or carry out an action on the ground,may be either multiple or single use in a given area. The application of integratedresource management results in a regional mosaic of land uses and resource prioritieswhich reflect the optimal allocation and scheduling of resource uses.
