Incremental silviculture

a Ministry of Forests term that refers to the treatments carried out to maintain or increase the yield and value of forest stands. Includes treatments suchas site rehabilitation, conifer release, spacing, pruning, and fertilization. Also known asintensive silviculture. See Basic silviculture.
